A note from the press

Publish fewer books, better.

Most picture-book imprints are running to a schedule. We are not. Currawong Books Press will publish one or two titles a year, with each book given the time it needs — from manuscript through illustration, design, paper choice, and print. If a story is not ready, it waits. If a story is ready, it gets the care of the whole house behind it.

If you would like a quiet note as each book reaches the printer, our two short lists — the Letter and News from the Press — are the easiest way to follow along.
